If resident requires retrieval of critical item(s), coordinate with supervisor to have response personnel extract and disinfect. Based upon the discretion of the zone manager, recommendations listed might not be necessary for ‘small scale’ clean water extraction, as long as the source of intrusion is solved, water extraction is quickly achieved and occupied areas are entirely dry. Small scale Water Structural Drying is defined as when the water extraction is of relatively small amount, well contained and easily extracted within 24 hours, and building materials do not have to be disturbed or replaced.
